Traditional motion systems (below right) consists of two joints with perpendicular rotation axis and rotation around each axis results in a movement move up, down, left and right with respect to the neutral position.
Our novel motion system (below left) has non-perpendicular rotation axis. It consists of two rotating half-spherical segments, a fixed base and a payload platform. Controlled rotation of each segment results in a payload motion up, down, left and right with respect to the neutral position.
